Local tennis champion and port employee Abdullah Salim Fadhil, a member of the Engineering team and Sports Committee organizer for the tennis games, won second place in the Dhofar Tennis Open Championship, further showcasing the sporting talent of Port of Salalah employees.

The company also launched a December Health Challenge for its employees during November with a special offer to employees and their families in association with Horizon Gym Oman.

The primary objective of the sports festival is to promote healthy competition under an atmosphere of sportsmanship and friendly interaction with a view to enhancing and strengthening company unity.

The games also allow for employees to introduce their families and friends to their colleagues and help to promote closer community relations among the many cultures at the port.

Peter Ford, CEO at Port of Salalah, who was the guest of honor at the port's closing games and ceremony, rewarded the top players and Sports Committee organizers with trophies and prizes.
