Oasis Club Manager

 

Port of Salalah – Oman’s largest port, a top global transshipment hub, and the Dhofar region’s largest private employer, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Oasis Club Manager – local/expat, to oversee the operations of our prestigious club. The Oasis Club Manager will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and coordination of all club activities, including membership, events, facilities, staff, and finances. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing a club or similar organization.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Provide overall leadership and management for the club, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.

·       Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the club's goals and objectives.

·       Manage and develop all club staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

·       Oversee the membership process, including recruitment, retention, and member services.

·       Plan and coordinate a wide range of club events, activities, and programs to meet the needs and interests of members.

·       Ensure that the club's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and safe for members and staff.

·       Develop and manage the club's budget, financial reports, and financial controls.

·       Maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.

·       Implement and enforce club policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with club by laws and applicable laws. Arrange and track licenses for club activities in accordance with lay and ROP

·       Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to club management.

·       Lead the growth of club business and best class service, customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in club management or a similar role.

·       Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, staff, and other stakeholders.

·       Proven track record of successful club management, including membership, events, facilities, and financials.

·       Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to club management.

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·       Proficient in using club management software and other relevant technology.

·       Certification in club management or a related field (preferred).

Port of Salalah – Oman’s largest port, a top global transshipment hub, and the Dhofar region’s largest private employer, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

 

A key role in the organization. This involves implementation of company policy, labor law, and the people aspects of the overall management of the company. Furthermore, the HRBP ensures the business has access to the critical organizational capabilities required to deliver on its strategy. The HRBP partners with senior teams to get them highly engaged, diverse, and high performing.

This position reports to the Head of HRD, and partners Executive Management Team (EMT) members on issues relating to People and HR processes.

The ideal candidate should possess a college degree in human resources, Business Administration, behavioral science, management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

 

Experience: At least seven years of experience in human resources changes culture driven and/or HR center of excellence or related work. Ideally the candidate should have managerial experience, preferably in the ports and terminals environment. Experience in other logistics companies or largest leading organizations within the country, will also suit this requirement.

 

The ideal candidate must have: A strong business acumen and ability to understand the organization's strategy and align HR initiatives accordingly, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior leaders on HR matters, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive informed decision-making, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity, proficient in Human Resources Information Systems and other HR software applications, must be thoroughly knowledgeable in various human resources standards in the areas of compensation, general benefits, employment and staffing practices, and organizational development, demonstrated leadership and management skills, able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management, strong negotiation skills, collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork, able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company and excellence in influencing senior stakeholders, conceptualizing, challenging perceptions and expanding points of view while acting as the trusted advisor to the Executive Management Team.
