Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis
Port of Salalah – Oman’s largest port, a leading global transshipment hub, and the largest private employer in the Dhofar region – is seeking an experienced Omani Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis to join its Finance team and support the organization’s financial planning, forecasting, and performance management activities.
This is a key role within the organization, responsible for providing financial insights and analytical support across both the Container Terminal and the General Cargo Terminal. The position works closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and business leaders to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, investment evaluations, and performance reporting.
The role involves preparing financial analyses, variance reporting, Board performance reports, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business cases, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will contribute to translating business performance into high-quality financial planning and forecasting information to support the achievement of Port of Salalah’s strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CIMA, FCA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a similar finance function. Candidates should possess strong analytical and financial modelling skills, a solid understanding of international accounting standards, and the ability to build business cases, valuations, budgets, and forecasts.
