Payroll Superintendent
Port of Salalah – Oman’s largest port, a top global transshipment hub, and the Dhofar region’s largest private employer, is seeking a Payroll Superintendent.
A key role in the organization. This involves handling all payroll activities & transactions ensuring accurate payroll elements are reviewed and updated and final payroll is deposited to all employee’s band accounts on time. Prepares payroll reports and reconciliation. Coordinates with finance on later stages of payroll processing. Maintains all data records and ensure all transactions are performed as per the policy and standards. This position reports to the Payroll & Medical Insurance Manager.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, human resources, or related discipline. Completion of relevant certifications program in payroll management & Process will be an added value.
Experience: At least seven years of proven experience in payroll processing & administration.
The ideal candidate must understand the basic compensation principles, analytical, mathematical skills, including the ability to develop complex formulas and perform regression analysis for pay structure. Must be able to extract, compile and analyze data. excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbally and written, advanced Excel software skills, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.

English Language Instructor
Port of Salalah – Oman’s largest port, a top global transshipment hub, and the Dhofar region’s largest private employer, is seeking an English Language Instructor.
A key role within the organization’s Training & Development Department, this position is responsible for preparing and delivering English language classes for employees and other interested groups. The role includes developing course materials, conducting assessments, and supporting other training-related activities within the department.
This position reports to the Manager – Training & Development.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in English Language or Education (teaching qualification is a must). Certification in TESL / DELTA or an equivalent English teaching credential will be an added advantage.
Experience: At least two years of proven experience in English language instruction and training.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Advanced fluency in English (verbal and written) with strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
- Solid understanding of teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and assessment tools.
- A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all work-related matters.
